This demonstrates how teachers are using an eportfolio approach to gather and evidence of their professional learning to evidence professional standards for teachers.  This approach is also useful for their performance reviews, and professional association membership requirements, and/or for course admission processes.

This interactive session covers how to make planning and tracking a teacher’s professional learning a key component of a teacher’s role, as well as, how best to capture and manage evidence through an eportfolio approach, together with tips and tricks on how to best present the evidence for others online.

Allison Miller has been involved in education and training for 20 years as an educator, professional development, and e-learning leader. She is the director and principal consultant of Vanguard Visions Consulting, an organisation which specialises in cutting edge e-business, e-learning and eportfolios solutions. Allison also leads the ePortfolios Australia professional network, the Moodle-Mahara Meetup national event, and the Digital Capability – Doing it Smarter online community.

Pascale Hyboud-Peron is an e-learning facilitator at Think Agency and she is dedicated to helping others develop, explore and experience new kinds of learning, in their context, for their purpose, supported by the use of technology. She has taught for fifteen years in secondary schools in the UK and in New Zealand, and has extensive experience with Mahara, my ePortfolio and other social learning platforms of choice, as well as with an array of accessible and flexible online tools and social media.
