Eportfolios Program

Vanguard Visions Consulting invites you to participate in this program to learn more about using the Mahara eportfolio system:
Workshop One: ePortfolios as personal online learning spaces – Get started in using eportfolios
- What is an eportfolio and why would I use one?
- Developing an digital profile, and
- Participating a professional community network
Workshop Two: ePortfolios for eAssessment – Using eportfolios for online & Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessment

- Setting up individual learning plans/action plans
- Developing eAssessment activities
- Using an eportfolio for employment, promotion etc
The Eportfolios program (Mahara Training) comprises of two separate full day workshops where participants develop an understanding of the practicalities of using eportfolios for learning and assessment. Participants can register to one or both workshops.
Following the two separate full day workshops, participants undertake online and ongoing activities to consolidate their face to face experiences. These online and ongoing activities would happen in an online virtual classroom and the 'Digital Capability - Doing it Smarter' Mahara eportfolio site, where participants showcase their progress and share ideas, seek help and support as well as experience what it is like to be a ‘learner’ using the Mahara eportfolio system.
The program will run at different times and in different cities. The program can also be run for your organisation as a customised program - contact us for costings.
The Eportfolio program (Mahara Training) comprises:
- Two separate full day face to face (f2f) sessions (optional to attend one or both workshops)
- Two additional online workshops
- Weekly online support
The ePortfolios workshops are run by Allison Miller. Allison is supported by Carole McCulloch to facilitate the online components of the program. Participants need to bring their own laptop to participant in the workshops.
Costs:

One Workshop - $295 (incl GST) per participant to attend our workshops or from $750 if held in your organisation

Both Workshops - $500 (incl GST) per participant to attend our workshops or from $1,350 if held in your organisation
